What Makes Austin Infant Care Different?

We're transitioning into an agency focused on attachment-based care, with a select team of elite caregivers providing expert support for families.

Unlike other agencies, Austin Infant Care is a boutique agency and runs on an invite-only model for caregivers. Only the best postpartum doulas and Newborn Care Specialists in Austin are invited to join and we don’t recruit from open pools. Caregivers are vetted for professionalism, skill, references and most importantly — an alignment of values around attachment- and evidence-based care.

Austin Infant Care believes strongly in the latest evidence that responsive care is the most beneficial for newborn development. It means your caregiver will respond to every cry with loving attention, learning your baby’s particular cues and never letting them go without regulation. This allows for emotional regulation for the whole family. When baby gets their needs met, parents feel empowered in their abilities.

Caregivers are receive a yearly continuing education stipend, opportunities to build their own bank of supplies and access to a healthcare benefit. Supporting postpartum doulas and Newborn Care Specialists means supporting families.
